Fund Accountant:
The Fund Accountant will be the Account Manager for our clients who consist of investment managers of hedge funds. In addition, the Fund Accountant will process subscriptions, redemptions and administer funds in accordance with Company policies and procedures. Duties of this position include:
  • Calculation of the Fund's NAV.
  • Preparation of fund financial statements.
  • Portfolio pricing using Advent Geneva and independent pricing sources.
  • Calculation of management and performance Fees.
  • Coordination of fund audits.
  • Payment processing of fund expenses.
  • Processing of Subscriptions Redemptions and Transfers.
  • Redemption and fund distribution payment processing.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures in comply with KYC and anti-money laundering laws and regulations.
  • Reporting cash requirements to fund manager.
  • Reporting fund performance and shareholder investment activity and account values.
  • Creating fund manager reports including ERISA reporting, Investor beneficial owner tracking, Investor concentration reporting, and performance calculation reporting.
The successful candidate must be a Certified Accountant or CPA with proficiency in Excel and Word. Highly accurate calculation and communication skills are required.
Advent Geneva Analyst-Developer:
Admiral utilizes Advent Geneva software for portfolio accounting of hedge funds. The Advent Geneva Analyst-Developer will report to the Chief Technical Officer and interact with hedge fund accounting end-users to define business requirements and build high quality, high performance straight-through processing solutions while maintaining the Advent Geneva application hardware/software platform.
Responsibilities:
  • Work with vendor technologists and consultants to design and deploy STP systems related to investment data loading and reconciliation
  • Administer and maintain the Geneva Application to include backup and restores of the AGA to multiple application instances (Production, Training, DR)
  • Administer Geneva portfolio user security access
  • Administer and maintain the Sunfire V40Z Solaris OS
  • Administer the Geneva Workflow Manager hosted on Biztalk
  • Administer and/or develop Biztalk accelerators and orchestrations
  • Develop Geneva reports using SQL Reporting Services
  • Assist the new fund client implementation team to data migration, enrichment and Geneva data loads
  • Maintain FTID, ACD, ACA and Geneva related vendor relationships

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 4 years as a hedge fund applications technical consultant or applications developer
  • Minimum of 1 year Advent Geneva application install or administration experience
  • Understanding of basic Hedge Fund instruments (Derivatives, Swaps, Fixed Income, CDS, MBS, etc)
  • Unix experience (OS administration, shell scripting, PERL)
  • Knowledge of Crystal Reports and SQL Reporting Services
  • Microsoft .Net Framework, XML and Transact SQL


Salary range for this position is $85,000 - $125,000 plus bonus.
Senior Network Administrator:
The Senior Network Administrator will report to the IT Manager and will be responsible for the operation and administration of the company’s internal networks, servers, email and network security systems.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the Company’s MS Exchange servers in Dublin and Cayman with the ability to troubleshoot and trace email rejections and denial of service along with ensuring proper spam and virus scanning and archiving using Mimecast and GFI
  • Utilize VMWare to create virtual production servers, store and deploy server images in the Company’s DR/BC site in accordance with mandated BCP testing
  • Manage network switches, Vlans, routers, internet connections, global Mitel phone system and maintain the related technical diagrams in Visio
  • Administer fax servers including proprietary statement delivery systems
  • Independently install and administer Citrix Presentation Servers and Citrix Gateway Servers
  • Create and administer Checkpoint firewalls, VPNs and DMZs
  • Basic database administration of SQL Server 2005 to include scheduled database backups and database replication to the company’s DR/BC site
  • Periodic configuration review of Symantec BackupExec, FTP servers, backup utilities, Trend Micro-Scan, and Surf Control

Qualifications: Minimum of five years of IT experience working in a lead role as a technical consultant or within a corporate IT department. Minimum Microsoft Certification of MCSA. Ability to install and maintain Windows 2003 server, Exchange, Citrix, Cisco routers and switches without supervision. Ability to create and maintain network diagrams and documentation.

Salary range for this position is $70,000 - $95,000 plus bonus.
Help Desk / IT Administrator:
The junior IT Administrator will report to the IT Manager. This is an entry level position and an excellent opportunity to become part of a corporate IT department. We are willing to train a Caymanian or Status holder given candidate has the technical instincts and ambition to further his/her career in IT.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain Help Desk by logging submissions and resolutions in the department’s submissions tracking software, resolving problems and providing assistance to end users
  • Rotation of daily backup tapes, monitoring of backup results and maintaining tape backup logs
  • Utilize and adhere to checklists including daily/monthly/quarterly maintenance tasks and new/exiting employee procedures
  • Create Active Directory accounts and MS Exchange accounts
  • Prepare and configure new PCs for deployment, install PC applications and configure printers and network connections
  • Troubleshoot and fix end user PC hardware, software, printer and phone systems
  • Maintain purchasing and inventory control of IT assets
  • Administer the Company’s Blackberry server (BES)
  • Create, issue and log staff security access cards

Preferred Experience: Windows Workstation XP, Windows Server 2003, Active Directory, MS Exchange, MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), Symantic Backup Exec. Hands on knowledge of the procedures used in the installation, modification maintenance and repair of IT hardware and software. Candidate should have excellent communication, organization and typing skills.

Salary range for this position is $28,000 - $38,000 plus bonus.
